Prof Teede & Dr Sally Cockburn talk PCOS
Learn more about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Sunday June 26 at 6pm on radio 3AW (693) Professor Helena Teede, Director of Research, Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health (also Head of Diabetes Unit, Southern Health and Monash Site Director, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine) will join Dr Sally Cockburn on Talking Health.
Prof Teede will talk about PCOS signs and symptoms, treatment options, the issues facing women living with PCOS (including any associated stigma and emotional health issues), myths and misconceptions, as well as diabetes and how it relates to PCOS.
This program will be of interest to women with PCOS, as well as parents and grandparents with daughters or granddaughters with PCOS. Also, women who may have symptoms, but have not yet had a diagnosis, will find the information and discussion useful.
